| If you created a kingdom, you already have a basic version of this. I would like each kingdom to be as realistic as it can be (I mean, we all know dragons and other things don't exist but we have them here.) But each kingdom should have some of the following. Important Aspects of The Culture
Role of Women vs Role of Men: (What roles do women typically play in your realm and what roles do men usually play?)
Arts: (Theater? Painting? What art forms does your culture find very important and what are some major reasons why?)
Clothing: (What does the typical man or woman wear?)
Customs: (Any customs that other countries would think are odd?)
Political Things:
Imports/Exports: (what does your country bring in and give out?)
Laws: (What laws are important to your kingdom?)
Views on Other Socities: (How do members of your kingdom view members of other kingdoms?)
People:(What sort of people live in your realm? Only humans? Other species?)
Religion:
Monotheistic or Polytheisitc: (One god or several gods/goddesses?)
Gods/Goddess: (The names of the deities celebrated and honored in your realm)
Rituals and Ceremonies: (Important ceremonies and rituals that are associated with a god or goddess)
Landscape:
Temperature: (What is the usual temperature of the kingdom? Is it hot or cold?)
Animals: (What sort of animals are native to the lands, what sort of animals can only be found here, and what sort of animals do the people raise?)
Plants: (What sort of plants are native to the lands, what sort of plants can only be found here, and what sort of plants do the people raise?)
Distinguishing Landmarks: (What things, be they naturally occuring or man made, are known throughout the other realms in your kingdom?) | |
