Da'vid prefers to wear the clothing of tradition amongst kings of his tribe in Feros. This include the malo (a loincloth) with a male skirt over it and a shawl, usually rectangular, decorated with bright patterns. When officiating over something, he wears his kihai which is a cloak that is worn over the shoulder and a feather head dress decorated with thousands of beautiful feathers from native birds.

Da'vid prefers bright colors that symbolize a mixture of his family and his position as the tribes leader. These include blue and gold (for his family) and reds and purples (for his royal position).

Family background:
Born to former tribe leader Everano Bautist and his wife Leonor who is the current head priestess to Pele, Da'vid is the second oldest child in a rather large family. His brother Auselmo was to be the next leader but enjoyed the life as the tribe's head warrior, so the position moved on to Da'vid. He has a sister-in-law, Maria, who is married to Auselmo and a nephw, Hector, who is Auselmo's son. One of his younger brothers, Caimiro is his chief advisor, while youngest brother Teo is next in line to head the troops if anything happens to Auselmo. The only girl and youngest child Kesara is next in line to become head priestess to Pele when her mother dies.

General history:
When Da'vid was a younger man, he wanted nothing more than to be a warrior like his older brother Auselmo. The two boys trained together, close as siblings can be. As they grew up, they competed for everything, even the attention of their parents. Da'vid grew to be a powerful warrior in his own right, wanting to make both his father Everano and his brother Auselmo proud. At the age of 19, his father died and Auselmo passed on the right to be leader which then went to Da'vid. Though he was young, Da'vid led his people through a war which added land to their tribal area, earning his second tattoo, the word for warrior on his bicep as well as the tattoo for being named tribal leader, a sun around his belly button. He was brave enough to expand his tribes relations to Sakura, earning his third tattoo, a dragon in the style of art from Sakura. It was in Sakura that he met Mitsuko Yamiko. The two became fast friends and Da'vid even fell in love. He tattooed the word angel in the language of her people on his arm, sharing the bond they shared. Now Da'vid lends his brothers forces to other kingdoms who may need the help from evil forces.
