Family background:
Growing up the son of a famed assassin was no easy task. Carter was the eldest and as eldest, Carter was expected to help his mother while Harris was away. Carter idolized his father so taking care of things was something he hoped would make Harris proud of him. When Nolee was born, he saw his father leave and simply did what had been expect of him his entire life: raised the family the way his mother and father would have wanted.


General history:
Carter Delacroix was born the son of an assassin and a commoner. He spent a lot of time with his father learning how to pick pocket and about the corruption of nobles, among other life lessons. He accompanied his father at all times, unless of course, Harris was out of the kingdom. Living with his mother improved his charm and life abilities, proving valuable the more into the life of a thief he got.
When Ivance and Edward were born, Carter took it upon himself to teach his brothers everything they knew. In turn, his brothers turned into notorious thieves as well. This gave Carter time to care for his ailing mother. By the time his sister was born, Carter knew his mother would not survive the stress and the cold Luminiegian winter. She died and this drove Harris away. Carter gave up the life of a ten year old child to raise his sister, something that was common in Luminiege.
