Usually Mitsuko wears only the armor she was assigned by the royal family when she became a samurai to the land of Sakura. When not in her armor, she dresses in loose fitting pants and tunics. On VERY rare occasion, she wears kimonos.

Colors:
Her armor is black with deep red and gold accents. She likes darker colors for her tunics but usually wears brightly decorated kimonos.
Underwear: She doesn't wear the complicated trappings of some women in sections of foreign lands nor does she wear the trappings of her own people, prefering to be able to fight without being restrained.

Family background:
Mitsuko's father was a poor farmer in the land of Sakura, her mother a seamstress. Though the two of them loved Mitsuko and her little sister Akiko very much, they often had very little time for her due to work. This led to Mitsuko having to grow up before her time so that she could raise her younger sister.

General history:
Though Mitsuko loved the beauty of the Sakura kingdom, her family, and her role as a big sister, she dreamed of adventure in foreign lands. That adventure came to her when a dragon that was not a defender of the realm came to attack the safety of the kingdom. She donned the armor of her father's father and slayed the dragon, using what she had often seen the young men of the kingdom do when practicing their craft of warfare. Not only did this bring her family into wealth but it gave her the chance to travel the world. She did so and because of her adventures, Mitsuko earned a spot on the royal guard to the ruling family of Sakura. She now travels the different realms looking for adventures and defending the name of the Sakuran Royal Family. Her favorite land is Ulfur, she feels at home in the wilderness with the hunters who she has learned a little from.
